Slip Resistance Testing

Construction Testing Services Ltd is pleased to announce that it now offers a comprehensive slip resistance testing service, including Slip Testing Dublin, Belfast and throughout all of Ireland. CTS has obtained UKAS accreditation for the measurement of slip resistance of surfaces using the pendulum tester in accordance with BS7976 - 2 + A1 2013. Slip resistance is measured in order to assess performance for the safety of pedestrians. Pendulum testing is suitable for a wide range of surfaces including: Pavers, Precast Units, Glass, Natural Stone, Ceramics, Resin Finishes, Concrete and Screed.

Construction Testing Services Ltd also measure surface roughness using a micro-roughness meter.
